Hi No need to bring the tele, prices here are comparable to UK and you will find similar products, I just bought my first TV and happy I did so here, tvs same as laptops normally has auto switch between 100-240. Electric plugs are: parallel flat prongs - "American" type I would think you can source most electric appliances from here, either second hand or from some specialized shops in Khubar. To my surprise the house I was allocated was mostly with 240 V, houses with 110 V are equipped with 240 V sockets.

Our house has only 110V sockets. Some 110V electrical goods are still available around Khobar, but it is getting harder to find them and there is never much choice. When we moved from the UK we were told to bring our appliances and we could just use transformers: bad advice and even unsafe. They tend to blow up, although they have been OK for things that are only used occasionally, like my sewing machine and food processor.
Rather than get stuff shipped to the UK and then put it in your shipment, you might do better to just wait and see, and get the same stuff shipped straight to you in Saudi, once you are clear on what you need.
