o everyone, I have a few questions. First one is,I currently own a high efficency lg top load washer which uses HE detergent only. Is this detergent usually available there in kingdom? Or is it a hard to find item? Also I have the matching gas dryer is there gas hook ups in the camp? I also read in the relocation guide that the dryer is set up for 220 volts electricity. If I bring my Gas or buy an electric dryer will I be able to change the voltage to 110 volts? And is the stove electric or gas that is supplied with the house? Also how is the basic kitchen space set-up for the refrigerator? As I need an estimate of what size fridge would fit into the space provided,Thank you all so much for your suggestions an help. This forum is so awesome. I read it daily. Lol

I recently purchased HE detergent. I don't get the impression that it is difficult to get. No gas hook ups that I am aware of. The dryer connection is a US 3 prong. I am sure maintenance will change it to a 4 prong for a small fee. Company supplied fridge does not have an ice maker, water dispenser or ice dispenser. If you bring one, it is likely that your residence will need the configuration of the fridge and sink being on the same side of the kitchen. In order to hook up the sweet water line which will cost extra.

I understand that DHA is all electric. No gas connection. The W/D space should provide a 110v receptacle for the washer and a 220v receptacle for the Dryer. I hear that most houses have a 3 conductor dryer receptacle. A new dryer will come with a 4 conductor cord. That is easy to change, but not sure of the availability of 3 prong cords in DHA. Might not hurt to bring one just in case.

I regards to finding HE detergent: Just look on the box for a picture of a top loader. Easy.

Look for the front loader picture as well. I brought a front loader, never a problem getting detergent.
