Hi derecwart - From reading various comments on this forum, I understand that the time that BI takes depends on each persons situation but mine took around 6 weeks in total. Education verification was part of this process (not sure if they conducted this before before they went onto other checks). Separately, for the visa application I needed to hand in the original copy of my degree for legalisation/attestation. I only submitted this a few days ago but I have been told that it will take a few days only (I have UK qualifications).
