Kindergarten is a part of the Aramco schools and all students who are eligible to attend may attend. You'll go to the school and enroll your child after arrival.
30 days vacation can be taken in the summer months easily. There are those who stay out prior to school starts, or leaves early prior to school ends, or extends their April break. Its your choice and determination on how it effects your child's education.
As far as I know there are no rules against it at this time in the Aramco schools, there were no rules against it when our kids were in school. Anyone know for sure today? Have they insuted a required number of attendance days?
If they attend the Dhahran High School, that is a different matter, they have rules against missing school.

Sometimes it can be difficult to get vacation exactly when you want it, I.e during the school holidays. It all depends on where you work. We have had to take our daughter out of school a couple of times but we try and arrange it so does not clash with exams etc and so far we have had no problems

We're in Dhahran. Coming from a school district in the US where minimum attendance days are required of students, we were surprised to see so many kids coming and going (some for full weeks or more) without the school batting an eyelash. Yes, it's the issue of when holiday time is allotted to employees. It doesn't always coincide with school breaks. You just call the school secretary and let them know which days and for how long. They might ask if it's out of Kingdom, but that's it. The teachers are very flexible, too, and those I've encountered seem very willing to work with the parents regarding missed school work.
