Thank you for you prompt reply. Yes patience is the main thing. Where the Reservoir Engineers usually works in Daharan or some other city.? if some one gets married during the hiring process or just after completion how long it takes his single status to be converted form single to married.

Reservoir Engineers do work in DHA. Someone else may know if there are RE's working in the other compounds.
I can tell you our friend's experience. Once he was married, the wife had to go through the medical clearance and get a visa. Honestly don't know if she went through a background check.
It was just over 3 months before she joined him in DHA.
But the process is different for each person, just like the hiring process.

Thanks for the detailed reply. Any over view about the working environment of the company. Job timing and Challenges for the Reservoir Engineers. What about holiday how many national holiday one gets. I am very hopeful that I get an offer soon. Patience is the Key.

Hi,
I have been offered a specialist job with Aramco.
The sequence of event was like below:
Interview June 1st 2011 2 pay slips June 24 Official offer letter August 1st. Negotiation and 2nd offer letter September 1st Background Investigation Nov 1st Visa Medical from Nov 1st until now (nothing wrong with my health but some of my docs were not filled properly or stamped properly, an advise for all new interviewed people; if offered you should follow exactly the requirements). Hopefully by next week my visa will be finalized.
But all in all, it is a good experience and as you and all said "patience" is the key.
Good Luck and all the best!
The New
