We will be moving to DH in a few weeks from RT, and I have a few questions:
1. Now that we will be close to the British School, Who do we contact to get a place for our kids?
2. Does Aramco provide a bus service for children schooling in the British Elementary school from DH? (There is a bus from RT)
3. Is Education Assistance provided for elementary school age kids?
4. We have 2 kids - 8 year old girl and 5 year old boy - What are the acitivities that they can be involved in in DH? In RT, they were involved with soccer, taekwando, ballet, girl scout for our daughter.
5. Any other helpful information to settle in the big city

Hi. The contact number for the British School is 330 0555, ask to be put through to the British School Office and they should be able to help and arrange a visit etc.
Yes, Aramco provide buses to transport your children to and from the British School.
Yes, Education Assistance is provided by Aramco for children aged 4 and over. This covers the school fees in full.
There are activities for children available in Dhahran ie; football, tennis, swimming, scouts and there are after school activities available for children YR3 and over.

If you want a full list of available youth activities, you can go to the HROnline site (available via the Home Internet) and look at the Community Services Section. There's a full list of all the recreational activities available in Dhahran. In addition to the ones mentioned, there are several others.

I would let the British School know you are coming, space in some Year groups is getting short.
