o everyone
We have more news - unfortunately many of us here in RT have been seriously affected with having our bank accounts cleared out yesterday - it appears it is a banking error and not what we thought about our cards being scammed by Lu Lus in Khobar.
This became apparent when the bank on RT was visited by a lot of worried and angry Aramcons this morning.
However we have all been called back on Saay afternoon for a meeting with the bank which means my husband and some others will have to take time off work and that is so far at the moment no way to treat good customers that is for sure whether or not it is Ramadan or the weekend - apparently if any of you have been using your card from the Saudi Hollandi bank in Bahrain say 4 months ago then whatever their transactions were and deductions from your bank account they are repeated all transactions again but not even for Bahrain - found out if any of you have been using your card abroad then the bank have taken off the very same transactions again and sometimes again - so this is truly a mess.
Some other Aramcons are now visiting their ATMs and taking out as much of their money as they can this is a terrible situation.

Thank you for your kind words of concern because it has actually sunk in today yesterday we were in shock but today after there was a meeting at the bank we now feel kind of lost let us hope there will be closure on Saay and they will return all funds immediately.

The following is an update of the meeting held at the bank here on RT yesterday afternoon.
The situation is much more serious than any of us could have encountered and even today more and more customers in the bank are having their accounts totally cleared out - whatever is wrong is continuing and the bank personnel at the Saudi Hollandi Bank on RT are simply out of their depth.
We waited like many others for 4 hours yesterday only to be told that Customer services department would call us within 24 hours well we are all still waiting and another customer was told this on Thursday morning at the bank and he is still waiting on the call as well.
If any of you wish an update of exactly what happened at the bank yesterday please either PM me or e-mail me direct as there was no meeting as promised only a lot of angry customers who had to wait their turn and did not really get anything remotely resolved and some customers that had waited were turned away and asked to come back today - the situation continues not to improve at all with no solution in sight.
This is causing time out for employees who should be at work and not having to sit around in this bank for hours on time and get nothing resolved or followed up - also there is no customer services care that we can see - we did instruct the bank that their 24 hour service does not exhist for we all have tried it and do not even get an answer and if we do we are told just go and visit your bank so this situation is dire the bank was not interested in us explaining that nothing is working as it should and that customer care does not exhist.
On a personal note we have had to borrow from our family and friends in Scotland just to get by as we have had no money since last Thursday.

This is another update for today Sunday 21st August.
My husband and some other Aramcons returned to the bank today and again did not get anywhere all they were told again was Customer Services will call you and that was that!
So since this all happened no help has been forthcoming from the Saudi Hollandi Bank - we feel totally helpless and accounts are still ongoing where people's money is missing - we are now very concerned when the salarie all of our accounts.
So my husband will return again tomorrow to the bank and keep on returning every day until something is accomplished but we do not hold out any hope - anyone with any further ideas we would sure appreciate any advice on this one.

No you are quite right it is not like me at all just been busy with my translation work - well this is the update so far - since writing my last posting other Aramcons continue to find transfers being taken out of their accounts without their knowledge or authority the lack of service at the Saudi Hollandi bank on RT is dire to say the least - Customer services never did call us back! also they have dealt with some individual cases and some have had some money back but not all just in dribs and drabs which is highly unprofessional of any bank.
It was not a Lu Lus scam but an error that is happening within the bank and of course they will not tell us what and it is still continuing to affect Aramcons that hold accounts with this bank it has not stopped the bank have made no efforts to find out what it is and simply continue banking as normal on RT seemingly the same bank in Khobar has been affected and many people where queuing out on the street to withdraw their moneies so the situation at the moment is still critical!
Those that have not as yet been affected have visited the bank here on RT and taken out all of their cash which is a very wise precaution at this stage.
However we have had a slight breakthrough my husband has been advised to compile a letter to list all the problems with the bank and have all those Aramcons affected to individually sign this letter and submit it as one case to Upper Management of Aramco hopefully this will help to get our monies returned.
In the meantime as soon as my husband's salary hit the bank on Tuesday he withdrew all of his money and we will now open an account with NCB in Aramco Dharhan compound - seemingly this bank has a very good reputation of looking after their customers and are highly professional which is what we all need.
There appears to be so much SPAM that ha our forum again so hopefully you will get this message in the meantime feel free to e-mail me on carolinecollen@yahoo.co.uk as I am being monitored by HR on what I write concerning this subject and if you e-mail me I can answer your question in more depth.

We still have not received all the money that was taken out of our account as others too have had the same problem - no help whatsoever - seemingly even during the last few weeks other people have had their bank accounts cleared out - if anyone reading this has had their money returned please do let us know.
We no longer of course bank with the Saudi Hollandi bank and simply use our account back in our own country - this is the only way personally for us to move forward and have peace of mind with our salaries etc.
The fact this is still ongoing is very worrying.
