Fellows,
I just came to know the interviewer from SA went to UK/South Africa and they are going back to SA on Sunday. Fellows who are waiting for their offers can expect offers sometime next week or later.

Orientation: Feb 20
Email: Feb 25 appproved for offer
Offer: March 30 -Fedex
Acceptance: Apri 5
Medical/Background: Medical Submitted, BI and all forms submitted April 20
Request for additional medical info twice. Request for previous residence addresses.
Visa: ??
Departure: Planned for mid July, then late August, now early Nov. Good Grief !
Medical and BI clearance Done. Now waiting on SA for approval - now 3 weeks.

If you're a new user, your posts must be moderated and approved before they appear on the forum. This is to prevent spam from appearing on the forum. Moderators remove sometimes dozes of spam posts every day through this method. It makes for a better user experience. If we didn't do this, the forum would be completely clogged with advertisements for medication and health enhancers within a few days. In effect, the forum would be unusable.

Found out today that I will be sent an offer by end of next week. They have a "queue" so that is part of the reason for the current delays.

Here is my story in summary  Field/Dept: Development Interview #1: Mid May 2011 1st Offer : Mid June 2011 2nd Offer : Mid July 2011 Medical: Sept 2011 Background : Oct 2011 Visa Process from KSA: Dec 2011 Orientation through VideoCon : March 2012 Embassy Process outside KSA : March 2012 Arrival to KSA : May 2012 Total cycle 1 year !! My process is not really part of the job fair as recruitment occurred within KSA. However, the process is being handled by ASC concurrent with those of you who went through the job fair. Curious to see how we all fare in the end.

Received the offer Mar 27. Given 7 days to accept. Arrival date is end of May (pending medical, background, visa, housing availability). At first the process wasn't moving fast enough, now it seems like it's moving too fast! Hope all of you get offers soon!  |
