Hi folks, I was requested to come to Houston later this week and be interviewed by Aramco reps. Does "interview" mean selected or else what is next? Can somebody please brief the milestones and the timeline of the hiring process? Interview, offer, visa, relocation, etc....please state the estimated timing between every two steps if possible as well as the estimated overall hiring process duration. Thanks for your answers in advance !!

the timeline is different for everyone. There are several posts of people's experiences, please do a search of the posts to read some personal experiences.

I agree with vpainter, from what you will read on the forum, almost without exception, every persons timeline is completely different.
For me, I sent my cv to aramco on a Monday, had my interview the following day and was offered the job on the Friday. After that explosive start, it took afurther 6 months to go through the rest of the process and actually get on the plane!

Moderators,
Thank you for your assistance. Over a year and a half ago, I submitted a resume to Aramco. I was contacted a little over three weeks ago asking if I was still interested in the position. I lived in SA growing up so I am familiar with the "camps".
I sent updated information and then stated that I had a vacation planned. The liaison asked me to call when I returned, but we spoke prior to my departure. I was given overall information, but when I relayed that already made six figures, the rep did not seem detoured.
To get to the point, it looks like I will be interviewed and will take a trip to Houston. Could you give me a general idea of the interview process and what I should expect. What do they expect?
Additionally, it looks like my husband is interested in sending in his resume. His concern is that he does not have. College degree, but he has 17 years experience in construction management. We also live in Alaska, and although his experience is not in the oil and gas industry, he has designed all modular housing on the North Slope. Would it be unreasonable to bring his resume with me?
If you could give me/us any valuable pointers and information, it would be appreciated.
