o All,
I applied for the position of Auditor in September 2011 but have not heard anything back from Aramco as yet. On 4 February 2012, Aramco is conducting the 'International Talent Quest' in my city - Houston. Would it be advisable to contact Aramco Services Company in Houston to find out the status or to just walk-in for the interview on 2/4/12?
I am kind of worried that if I walk-in for the interview, my chances of selection for interview may be slim.
Please advice.
Thanks

But if you don't go, they chances of an interview are NONE. Go to the Aramco event!! Can't hurt!

I don't understand the concept of "walk-in interview". Is it open for all applicants who weren't selected as top candidates for interview?? what is the difference then between those and other who were selected for interview?

two ways to apply for a job at Aramco. Online: jobsataramco.com Or at Job Fairs At the Aramco booth, or one they sponsor.
If you haven't heard from anyone, go.

Thanks for your replies.
One more question, what would be best for a walk-in interview - be an early bird or be there anytime during the day? The timings are from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Thanks soverydeb and vpainter for your kind suggestion. I went to the Job fair today. Based on the initial screening, I have been asked to come for interview, this Tuesday. Any thoughts from your guys? I mean do I stand a good chance?
