Hi,
I would like to know if there is a French community in RT or Dhahran and if someone send their children at the French School (Lycée Français) of Al Khobar???

I live in Dhaharan, and I know 4 to 5 french speaking families, they are from France , Canada, Algeria and Morroco. All their children attend Aramco school because they said that the french school in khobar is not very academic and that they hire their staff teachers from here.
I heard in Ras Tanura , the french community is larger.

Thank you very much for your answers.
It looks like it is somewhat difficult to enrol in the Aramco Schools when the children have had no formal education in English Language before?

RT has the English as a second language program.

I'm not so sure that's true. I've known various people who have come here whose children spoke primarily Spanish, Thai or Korean. I don't know the exact details but they were all able to get their children into the Aramco School system without too much of a problem.
