In planning my departure to Ras Tanura we want to ship our newly purchased 2011 Toyota Highlander. I have read through criteria to have the car shipped to Kingdom, but am still unclear on if the car has tint. It is common now for all SUVs (at least here in the USA) to have lightly factory tinted rear and backseat windows. The tint is very light and factory but it is present.
Is this factory light tint generally strictly enforced for shipping vehicles? Has anyone shipped their own vehicles with the light factory tint?
Any advice is appreciated, -Brad

Brad We shipped our Town & Country mini van over from the states which has factory tinted side & back windows. We had no problems. Just as long as you can see into the window when you look through it up close. Good Luck & welcome to RT. Donna I also live in RT so if you have any other questions feel free to email me at: bolishmom@gmail.com

Thanks for the info, glad to know we can ship her vehicle. I'll try to dig up details on which shipper to use after the rest of my offer contingencies are met.

Uman: I don't think anyone will stop you from shipping as well since it's out of your own pocket (automobiles are not part of the freight allowance). Although from down under it would a cost a pretty penny and you could probably buy half a car here for the cost. I've been told that cars are actually a bit cheaper in KSA compared to the States.

That's true - there's no restriction on which nationalities can ship vehicles to/from the kingdom, that I've ever heard of.
