I heard about Aramco from an ex-employee who spent many years with Aramco. He had nothing but positive things to say, which piqued my interested. My wife and I would both love the opportunity to work for such a reputable company. I have submitted a CV but got no response. Any suggestions from current employees how to get noticed? Thanks for your help!

You said you've submitted your CV. I take it that means you applied online for a position at jobsataramco.com
That website will also list throughout the year when a job fair is going to take place and where. Attending a job fair allows you to see a person.
Also, it does take time for the process of being hired by Aramco to take place, including initial contact, interview(s), offer, background checks, medical, visa, etc.
Patience is the key. Once you have initial contact you can keep in touch with your contact person.
Good Luck!

I have applied on the jobsataramco.com site. I have not received a response. I noticed that there is a job fair on Feb 4th in Houston. I am willing and able to go and considering flying there, but what I need to know is if it's an invitation only process, and where the fair is held? I'm flying from Alaska, so I don't want to travel that distance and not be able to get in, or for that matter, find it when I get there. Thank you in advance for any help. I appreciate it.

I think this is a very good question. My husband attended a job fair 2 years ago in Houston and turned in his resume. At the time there were no posted positions for helicopter pilots (his area of experience). Since that time there have been helicopter job postings. He has updated his resume and submitted at least twice. He is definitely qualified but has never heard anything from Aramco. It is difficult to be patient but that seems to be the best advice. We will keep trying.

I was "found" by my LinkedIn profile. I didn't apply previously nor was looking for a job. I think the key to LinkedIn is to join groups that your future employer would most likely join. I added myself to groups such as Middle East Recruiting, Middle East Oil & Gas, etc... There was a recent post about another member on this forum who was also discovered this way.

Texas786, Thanks for that advice! Did you accept a pilot position at Aramco? My husband is also applying for various pilot positions, like Cemrn's husband. Would you be willing to answer some questions via PM? Thanks for your time, Meghan

Keep trying is the best advice. This is one company where it is true that they keep your resume on file for future opportunities.
I worked on this for three years before I got an offer, and it was for a job I didn't apply for. Keep the resume updated and keep applying to relevant jobs as they come up. Don't go crazy applying too much though, and don't annoy HR and wear out your welcome before you're in.
Be patient, be persistent, be truthful.
