Hi all! My name is Travis Wilson. I was born in Dhahran in 1985 to Ike and Alice Wilson. I attended school in Aramco (Dhahran camp) until I was fourteen years old. My father (Isaac Wilson) retired and moved to Colorado in 1999. I miss home. Has any tourism opened up/visitor pass regulations changed? I am 26 years old, employed, and content with life....except for one thing. Before I die, I have promised myself to visit my home...lay in the grass at lemonwood park, visit third street after dark, schwarma from the roach coach, lateef bakery, Al Rashid mall, etc. Is there any way for young aramco brats to visit?
Thank you guys!
-Travis

In 2015 there is an Aramco Reunion where brats, previous employees and their families, etc can return for a visit to SA. There is information regarding this reunion in the Aramco Expat Website under Events. These are occurring ever so many years and you'd have more than one chance to return. The first reunion had about 500 come back for a visit.
3rd Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Reunion
Tentative Date March 9-18, 2015
All annuitants, single or married, brats, and their families are invited! Please stay tuned to Aramco ExPats for further updates about this special event! *************************************************************************************************** Also Saudi Arabia is saying they are starting to give tourist visas and you can get them in one day, so you could try to visit the Saudi Embassy in Houston, TX and apply for a tourist visa. All they'd do would be say no. There might be a way to apply for a tourist visa online at the Saudi Embassy website.
Good luck!
