Hi All,
I hope you are all well!
This forum is of great help, and thanks to all of you who share their good and not so good experience.
I am a bit confused; I get contradictory answers after talking to my recruitment agent and the Saudi Embassy here in Doha – Qatar.
I have been cleared for my Background Screening and SAMSO Medical and now going through my Visa Process.
The agent is asking me to go and do medical to obtain a visa, but after talking to the Embassy, the guy asked me to get the visa first to obtain a form and do the medical.
Any thoughts or ideas on this as I am getting frustrated , it has been two months since I cleared my Background.
Appreciate your help,
Kindest regards,

Hi,
Getting a visa will be the last part of the process. My medical was in April, visa arrived at the end of June. The visa is a 90 day one
Best regards Buster

I think the embassy will give you a medical form once you get the visa introductory letter from aramco. This medical test is not for aramco but is necessary for the you to obtain a visa. The SAMSO medical clearance, I beleive, has nothing to do with this medical test. Ask your agent at aramco to have the visa introductory letter prepared for you.
For your benefit and for others, this is the process I went thorugh: 1. Prepare attested copies of academic degrees (do this in advance as this may take time) 2. Ask aramco for the visa introductory letter 3. Get medical done at a recongnized center 4. Prepare other documents such as experience certificate, no objection letter etc. 5. Apply for visa
The requirements for visa will vary from place to place.I got my visa issued in the UAE so the required documents might be very similar to that in Qatar. Try to find out if there are local agents in Qatar who apply for the visa on your behalf. They can advise you on what to do.

The_New: If you are on a visa process stage then: - you should received a visa packet from Aramco to go apply at your nearest Saudi Embassy. This visa packet is basically 3 things (in most cases) - your signed offer letter, your visa block letter (details of nationality etc) and a to-whom-it-may-concern sort of letter from Aramco to that Saudi Embassy - to issue you the visa. - NOW to get this visa - you need to submit a complete medical report - an embassy must requirement - filled form exactly like this (you can print this even) www.saudiembassy.net/files/PDF/MedicalReport.pdf - - so you take this medical form to your doctor- do the whole tests - 3 copies please - signed/stamped etc. - take your medical results + Aramco visa packet to the embassy agent - bingo - you are ready to submit. - Be aware that during visa processing - Saudi Embassy can request you to submit your degree and marriage certificate and other info as needed. - be patient and good luck. I'm in the same cycle ! rgds Mjkr

Hi maujkar and Buster,
Thanks for your reply and help.
Things are much clearer. Just one more question, should I ask the embassy about their preferred Physician or Clinic, or any will do.
Please advise,
Once again thanks for your help.
Best regards,

New: if you look at the medical form - its pretty detailed and hectic... all sample results will take at least 2 weeks plus Embassy requires any Physician, clinic, hospital, authorized by the local government's Ministry of Health. Your saudi visa agent can guide you (or even ask embassy if they reply ;-) ) , otherwise choose any good place. Remember your physician has to sign 3 forms+stamp it - and those filled forms are later required to be attested by the Ministry of Health. I recommend you print the embassy medical form and take it to your clinic or hospital - I'm sure they are aware of the procedure and will be able to guide you further. this is a requirement for any level of saudi work visa ! good luck MJKR
