My husband has received an offer, we have passed medical and background checks. All of our labwork has been done and is waiting to be sent with our visa application. We have an itinerary that was emailed to us today that shows us leaving the US on January 30, 2012.
But, we have yet to receive acceptance to school for our daughters, ages 8 and 5. Our oldest has been diagnosed with ADHD-predominantly inattentive, and is currently on medication. She also attends a private school with an extremely rigorous curriculum and receives no modifications to her work. She has very high grades and is doing well. Will her ADHD be a deal breaker? Or, since she is on meds and currently receiving no "extra help" from her school, will she most likely be accepted into Aramco schools? And, since we are on the winter break here in the US, and I know that Aramco is between trimesters, will we have to wait until January to hear back about school acceptance? (No visa app will be processed until school accepts the kids.)
Is there any way that we can contact the school in ABQ ourselves?
We are a little stressed about selling our house/preparing for the move in such a short time span. Any help would be appreciated!

I am a school teacher in Udhailiyah and I do not believe that you will have any issues with your daughter being accepted into Aramco Schools due to her ADHD as there are current Aramco students that are ADHD. So long as she is currently successful while receiving instruction without major curricular modifications and is not coming from a special education type learning environment, I am quite sure there will be no problem.

We got word today that our girls were accepted to the school in ABQ! YAY! Now, does anyone have a contact in ABQ that we could chat with? Would love to talk to someone in the camp. My close friend lives in UDH, and she's given us a lot of the "scoop" about life in Saudi. Any help would be appreciated!

We received clearance from the school! YIPPEEE!! Our visas have been applied for and we hope to hear something back next week.
I have one other questions, concerning my daughter's ADHD. The medical group informed us today that only Ritalin and Concerta were available in Kingdom. My daughter takes Focalin, and we are not wanting to change to a drug that we feel is more mood altering. Because it is a controlled substance in the US, obtaining a prescription for 6months to a year may be a real problem. So, here's my question: Does the Aetna supplemental insurance have a mail-order prescription plan? Or, could we obtain Focalin in Bahrain? Or, would the Aramco pharmacy order this drug for us?

Yes, Aetna has a mail order prescription plan, I'm not sure how that would work for shipping it overseas though.
