I have 8 years of experience with the US Army with 3 of those years working in Kuwait. Two of those years I was working in Human Resources. I also have a bachelours degree in Business Administration and a Masters in Business Administration from Texas A&M in America. Both of my degrees are aacsb accredited as well. Currently I work for the US government with the US Dept. of Veterans Affairs and have 1 year experience as a contract specialist (contracting) procuring money for different kinds of construction and leasing contracts. I have experience negotiating and mediating contract requirements with various vendors and am warranted to procure up to one million dollars. I have been looking at some contracting job postings on the aramco website and it says they are looking for a BS degree in business and about 5 years of experience in the field. Can i subsute my mba as experience as well? Do you think i have a honest shot? I am considering applying and going to a job fair too because one of my coworkers was a prior employee (contracts advisor) for the company. Does anyone know of the next job fair? Any advice would be wonderful.
Thank you very much,
Jeremy Wells m.b.a.
