There have been a few Emails warning of short internet outages while they upgrade the ADSL. Does anyone know anything about this project?

First Ive heard of it, but hopefully they're either making it faster or at least more reliable. STC has a 4gbps service in Khobar/Damman, would love to see that here!

We were upgraded last week....they are doing this in blocks of 90 homes or so....and we had an outage that lasted 4 days (because we went over a weekend) They fixed it on Saay and my husband tested the speed---it IS faster, but nothing to write home about. You will receive an email informing you when YOU will be part of the upgrade, then print out (or remember) the directions to finish the process. It's just a few ons to click. If you are still having minor issues reboot your computer (that's what I had to do, but then again, I think I had more issues to deal with). So far so good!

Possibly going to RT in March/April.
I hope the ADSL is all running smoothly by then.
Any updates would be appreciated.
