Chikano, Your question has been answered by many others before. A better way to search the forum is by copying and pasting the following in google and then type in your query e.g. first day:
site:forum.aramcoexpats.com "first day"
I find this method to be the fastest in getting answers to a lot of my questions that have been answered before. Good luck.

Yes thank you for this advice as we try very hard to help everyone on the forum but at times we do feel like we are repeating ourselves over and over again and yes that is what this tool is about to type in a subject and it will surely deliver to you the information you require on every day asked questions - of course we are always here to help as well but to add to this remember everyone is different and everyone has a different story about their first day working for Aramco wether it be in Dharhan or Ras Tanura or Tanajib because it obviously depends on the job in question and whether new hires arrive as batchelor status, or arrive before their family does or indeed arrives with their family - but you will find the link you have been given to help you with your immediate question about your first day with Aramco.
Good luck Kind Regards Carolina

the search method by Colts18 is used in your Yahoo or Google search engine. This is very helpful when the "search the forum" does not give results.

Arrive, furnished house with about couple of days food already here, generally one day rest, then orientation, very detailed, helpful and with follow up emails. Lot of steps, patience, but systematic, key is Iqama for some key things like driver license. If with family might be good idea to rent a car, for inside the camp use. Do not forget jet lag, slows you down. Get cell phone and temporary internet access. In office people extremely helpful and understanding of the steps/time required to complete paper work. One guy got here today had luggage delayed so might be good idea to have some reasonable clothes in hand baggage. If no car still lot of bus routes. Community orientation is useful too. Lot of food choices for lunch and dinner. Impressed to see small kids playing alone on the side streets. Huge mall and IKEA one exit from the camp. My neighbors and office colleagues give me ride to work and back. Also taxi only 10 SR inside. Today a neighbor saw me going in the house, literally ran to come and introduce and offer any help. Good luck

Thank you for taking the time to give this very useful and helpful advice - everyone on the forum especially new hires about to move to any of the Aramco compounds will find this very very useful - in fact I sincerely do hope that once other new hires arrive to the Kingdom will write their comments about their first few days - it would be so useful to everyone.
All the very best and enjoy your time with Aramco and all the activities you wish to take part in although we have a glorious beach here on RT my husband misses the golf course in Dharhan yes we have one here but it is all sand which my husband does not like - coming from Scotland we are spoilt with so many good golf courses around.
Good luck Kind Regards Carolina
