Hi all:
I am currently in the process of joining ARAMCO. I asked my recruiter about the progress after two weeks from accepting the offer and he informed me that I am now in the relocation phase and added that I might be able to land in Saudi within 2 months. I am puzzeled since I am not sure whether the background investigation has been completed or not yet since no one contacted me for any information.
My understanding is that BI should be completed first and then the relocation process starts but in my case i am not sure if BI happened at all.
I really appreciate it if you can share with me your experience about your BI.
Thank you all.

You may not ever hear about the BI, it'll just be done and the process will continue. You may be told the BI is complete or you may be told to do the medical process, etc. The process will just move along at it's own pace.

ASk your relocation advisor to let you know once you clear background... mine initially wasn't interested but then they put a new person in and they kept me up to speed on everything

Faimanza, In my case - i was contacted directly by the BI company seeking further clarification and before that, i had to submit, like 2kg of paper work - just for BI ! Then again it might depend upon your nationality and numbers of country you have lived etc. For me they had to go through my records for 5 countries - so it took time. Vpainter is correct, many things run in parallel (as I'm witnessing it for my case). Patience is the key here ! Good Luck Mjkr

@ faimanza
Did your offer note a specific time-frame for your relocation?
Just curious as I wait to be contacted by relocation since we are technically at 7 weeks out, without visas, BI, or medical, from when the offer stated I should 'expect to arrive in the Kingdom'.
