From the housing assignment matrix I have, a 9 is some nationalities bachelor status GC. The highest GC for those nationalities is 10 for bachelor status. GC is assigned to each job within Aramco. GC 11 starts family status, although I do know a couple of GC 10's who have their families here, they have been granted an exception.

Do you mean that ALL bachelor status persons have a grade 9 or according to their job and their specialties/years of education/years of experience? and is a grade code 9 good in Aramco? in comparison to other grades... as i understood from other persons that you get paid (basic salary) according to your grade code... thanks man!

No, I did not say all bachelor status were GC 9. You need to understand that each job in Aramco has had a GC given to that job. Whatever job you're being hired at, you'll be hired at the GC for that job.
Koreans are not listed on my list so I cannot answer your question.
The questions you are asking are dependent on many issues, and no one will be able to give you specific/definitive answers. We cannot say how GC is applied to each job, because as expats we're not involved in that; but do know each job/position has been given a GC by the company.
Only you can decide if the offer you have received is good for you. It really has nothing to do with anyone else. What's good for one person, may not be good for the next. Again, only you can decide if the offer you have received is good for you.

Chikano,
As far as I know, most of Korean came from Korea are under UK payroll. For your another question : One of my colleague, American, who is bachelor and his GC is 18. Thus, there is no GC restriction for bachelor. There is a GC ceiling for expat, though. Good luck!

Although everything vpainter stated is correct, I think that it is also true to say that in Saudi Aramco, grade codes are divided largely into two categories: 3-10 and 11+. Certainly, many aspects of company policies, including HR policies are separated along those lines.
The major difference, as regards living conditions, is that 11+ employees are allowed to live in family camp accommodation which depending on family status, could be an apartment or a house, whereas 3-10 employees are offered bachelor housing, which generally means an apartment, usually in an area separate from the family housing, especially for male employees.
A GC 9 male employee would not be enled to live in a "family camp" area or use family camp facilities. There are different rules for females, as female bachelor housing, at least in Saudi Aramco compounds, is usually within the family camp area.
And although, as mentioned, some employees below GC 11 can get permission to bring their families over, they would almost certainly have to find their own rental accommodation in the local area and would not normally be eligible for company-provided family camp housing.

Exceptions all the time: I do have friends who are GC 10 in the Hills.

That's why I said "would not normally be eligible ..." - precisely because there are always exceptions to every policy.
I was also trying to provide a realistic scenario for Chikano, who is a GC9 new hire (and I am presuming, although perhaps wrongly, male). What I was trying to indicate, as an answer to his (?) queries, was that a GC9 newly-hired male employee would almost certainly not get family housing on arrival.
For instance, I was hired as a GC11, UK payroll and it still took me 8 years to get an out-of-policy exception to enable my family to live with me in family housing in Dhahran.

Hi, I am a potential candiate to move to ARAMCO. Just received an e-mail from ASC that they are preparing an offer for me. I had applied for a specialist position but the I am told the position I am offered is E1. Could somebody please explain the differences in various positions such as Engineer I , Engineer II, Engineer II, Specialist etc... What grade codes corresponding to each of the position? What kind of benefits differences would be among GC13, GC14 & GC15.
