Hi all,
Can we negotiate salary and/or benefits during interview or after the job is offered? Please give some tips how to handle this…..
In US, this matter can be discussed with recruiters or HR at the time of interview.
Regards,
Ed

A good number of people have negotiated salary increases from what is offered. Usually, they have pay stubs to show they receive more than the offer, or they've received a raise while going through the process and produce the new pay stubs. A few have just negotiated a higher salary for themselves. But there have been a few in the Medical part of Aramco - Samso, that they've tried to negotiate and their offer has been withdrawn - these are the ones I've heard about.
These negotiations have occurred usually prior to the offer acceptance. But I know a couple of people who were already in the process of BI and medical and they received a raise and were able to ask Aramco to meet it.
Benefits are determined by the payroll you're hired on. I haven't heard of anyone negotiating benefits and receiving them. Not to say it hasn't happened.
