I have received a conditional offer for a secretarial position in Dhahran and I'm not sure whether to take it. Is acceptance of the offer binding in any way as I have also been sent an employment contract to sign and am worried that if i sign then I will not be able to perhaps change my mind about going? So my question is can I still pull out even after signing all the paperwork incl the employment contract and also after the medical checks and visa are issued? I have been only given a week to get all the paperwork back to them and as its a big decision I would really like a bit more time to think about it. I would be grateful for your help on this one. : )

Dhahran is the el in the crown of all the Aramco sites - go for it!!
As far as I know, you can pull out the process right up until the point you jump on the flight - nobody ds you kicking and screaming.
Most people complain how long the recruitment process takes - enjoy the quick response!!
Interview - Feb Offer - 2 weeks later, signed 2 after that Medical - April Visa - end of June Arrival here - end of August
You'll still have plenty of time to change your mind along the way but remember why you applied in the first place
Cheers Buster

o
Also do remember if you consider to take the contract/employment with Aramco you will have the 90 day probationary period as well - so really you have nothing to lose.
Kind Regards Carolina

Carolina, You may have something to lose because, at the end of the 90 day probationary period, if Aramco doesn't deem you suitable, you are given a one way ticket out of here.

Lucky you Bee1. I would love to get offered a post in Dharan. Not sure why you applied in the first place if you're so unsure of the situation. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. It's an exciting opportunity. Go for it. Make a success of it.
