I haven't been able to hear the AFN Radio in Dhahran @ 107.9 FM recently? Has it been cancelled or changed frequency? I really love that station (esp. Rush Limbaugh, Dr. Ruth (until she was bumped off), NPR, etc.)

I received the AFN Dhahran signal on my regular radio without using a satellite dish. It was 107.9FM but did they move to satellite only?

AFN Radio 107.9 is still on the air. Unfortunately Aramco FM2 broadcasts on the same frequency and when certain atmospheric conditions exist it can interfere with the AFN signal. AFN satellite services can only be received through restricted decoders, except for one channel that is not encrypted.
