Arriving on bachlor/single status Sept 22nd and was looking for info on a house cleaning service in Dhahran. In the US I currently have someone come in every two weeks and that should be fine in KSA.
Cheers, Michael

Michael,
You will have no problem at all finding someone to clean your place. Laborers are plentiful and affordable. Just ask around when you get there and ask about prices...some pay lots more than others but it just depends on what you're comfortable paying.

o and welcome
Yes the last posting is quite correct but although help is plentiful it is a matter of what kind of help you require for yourself or other members of your family even when you have family to visit you but Saudi Aracmo have strict regulations and as I write Security are taking note of all those maids and house boys who work on our compound in Ras Tanura to make sure their papers are in order sorry I cannot speak or comment on Dharhan compound.
I have lived in 9 countries in 12 years and have always had to train maids or house boys - that is the best way - it is very unlikely you will be able to employ a good house boy or maid for they need to be trained - all the good ones are highly sought after and fully booked for years! yes can you believe that - something you should know is that all of the good house boys and maids need to be fully employed to work here on any Aramco compound that are individually sponsered by their employee i.e. working for Saudi Aramco and there are strict regulations in employing them.
Hope in some small way this clarifies your question but you can always send me a private message.
Kind Regards Carolina

Tamimi offers a houseboy service in Dhahran, you can get their number from customer services in Mujama, however, like Caroline said, you will need to train them, we used them last year and they were novices but trainable.
