Is there anyone that is based at Ras Tanura camp? I know it’s quite far from Dharan which is disappointing. My flight has been booked for October and I will be based here..

Not too far from Dhahran, but location wise you have a nice beach with decent facilities. Once you are settled and driving Dammam / Dhahran / Khobar are all easily accessible.
Also there are fairly regular busses running to Dhahran camp and shopping.

Thanks for replying, yes RT, I know many say it’s really pretty due to the beaches but I know I’m quite far from everything and was apprehensive about the facilities/amenities but feel reassured now and once I am settled I’m hoping to be able to drive too  |

We’ve lived on RT for 10 years so please feel free to send me a message if you have any questions. IMO, it’s the best Aramco camp and I’m sure you will enjoy it here.
