I was interviewed for a position mid june, however after two weeks i got a not successful email. I want to know from other people experiences, if they got unsuccessful in one interview and kept applying and then got successful and got offer for some other role.

Yes there is quite a possibility.
Did you had a feedback from recruiter if you were deemed as Technically qualified? If yes, then keep applying for roles that matches to your expertise.

I recently had an interview with Aramco for an engineering role. After 3 weeks, received a call from RA telling me that I was technically qualified with great score however after final review, an another candidate was selected as most suitable.Currently, My current online status shows, "thank you for participating in our interview process".
I have been told by RA that incase another similar requisition comes, I may be contacted in future for an offer without going through an another interview.
Can anyone please share his experience if anyone was contacted by Aramco after being technically qualified in an interview?

After 3 weeks, received a call from RA telling me that I was technically qualified with great score however after final review, an another candidate was selected as most suitable.Currently, My current online status shows, "thank you for participating in our interview process". I have been told by RA that incase another similar requisition comes, I may be contacted in future for an offer without going through an another interview. Can anyone please share his experience if anyone was contacted by Aramco after being technically qualified in an interview? Yes.. I am in same situation... In fact they had collected all documents and background verification done.. But later when checked I was told that i am considered as backup candidate and will be contacted when opening comes up ... My profile status also says "thank you for your efforts so far. your recruiter will contact you when continue the process" |

Its good you have been requested docs and checks. I have been advised to stay clam until October 2024 as new requisitions will be added.

I am in the same boat. they started the process and then said to wait until Q4 2024. Have submitted the documents etc. So now just waiting. |

My case is similar except that I was interviewed in December 2023 and kept as a backup candidate. They asked for documents and everything in May and then told in June to wait until Q4 2024. Let's see. |

I was assigned both recruitment and relocation agent and was clearly told that I am technically qualified. I updated pretty much everything on the silkroad portal, background check forms to all the documents and also started the degree verification process. So basically I was waiting for the offer. Then silence so reached out and ask for update and I was told to wait for until Q4 2024 for upcoming job position.
Yes patience is the key. I am waiting and hope to hear some positive news by the end of the year.

Is it common that they will keep technically qualified people on hold for upcoming positions? |
