1. We are coming from an Asian Country and want to know if base salary of 16500 SAR monthly is good offer for a family of four?
2. We will be relocated in abqaiq, will we pay for house rent from this base salary or from housing allowance which is mentioned excluding base salary? Same is for schooling?
3. How much is monthly rent in compound?
Please guide as this is a huge step for our family to relocate in SA permanently.

You will have to pay around 1900 sar per month for rent to company from your salary for the suitable house size for the family of four. On top, the largest expense would be 14400 sar for iqama fee annually for your family which you will have to pay. Many people opt for single exit entry visa when going out for holiday. That will cost you 800 sar for while family for one exit entry visa. If you want annual multi exit entry visa, it will cost you 8800sar. Since housing will be provided by company, no extra housing allowance will be given. Schooling will be free.

Depends on your circumstances but if you are coming on family status of GC11+, that is a very poor salary.

On top, you probably won't get any additional allowances unless your job is in hazardous area where you will get site allowance of around 7% basics.

If you salary is 16500, you should be getting hosuing allowance of 16500×3 if you plan to live out of aramco compounds, this will be given to you at once, maybe after a month of joining when you decide and inform them you want to leave out,
So say, 49500 is your Housing allowance, you can get an apartment of 1.9k sar per month abqaiq or maybe less, depends how well you search, you may get even cheaper, which will cost you 22.8k sar, remaining you may use it for food, electrical bill, internet etc. As you have schooling coverred, you wont have any additional cost,
For family cost, you will have their medical coverred and schooling, but you will still need to pay dependent fees which is 400 sar per month per dependent, so yearly 4800 per dependent,
In case they give you transport allowance, you may get upto 1500 sar per month, but you will need to arrange your own car (buy new or used that would be your choice),
Other than that you will have bonus and other things and year to increments depending on your performance and company status (which is usually good as can be seen in media)
I am not sure what is your work experience in year and qualifications, however, they would offer you according to your current pay.
For the offer to be good or bad, you have to decide it considering your current situation your forecat wherever you are as you can only decide what is best for you according to your profile and situation, there is no gun on head to decide.
People here are working on even lesser pay and less benefits as well, so it is your call.

If that happens, he won't be able to move out and claim rental allowance. Even if he moves out at later stage, he can't claim rental allowance if he has lived in camp. That will have significant Impact on his calculations. He need to get that clarified in writing
