Hi,
My partner is arriving in Dhahran next month and her father wants to travel with her and stay for a few weeks. We asked the RA about this and their advice was that she should not have visitors until her Iqama is granted as her father would not be allowed into the camp. Is it plausible for him to travel with her and stay in a nearby hotel? In my mind, I am thinking she will be rather busy with onboarding and so on. Is it likely she will be able to easily go and spend time during the evening/weekend outside the camp as soon as she arrives?
Appreciate any feedback/advice. I cannot travel with her since we are not yet married.
Thanks

He won’t be able to get on camp and even once she has iqama, presumably she has a small one bed?
Getting off camp is easy enough with the buses but as you say, she’ll be busy, it takes away from her meeting people and settling in.

Is there a way to have spouse and children visit Dh, before an Aramco expat is granted Iqama? If yes, what are the stay options? Can they co-live in the bachelor housing?

If you’ve got your camp badge, that should do it. Although if it’s very early days you might struggle getting them camp id, which means no buses and no pool without you. If they need your iqama in order to get a visa, then no. Bachelor housing is small, one bed. Nothing stopping guests but it’s tight. If you are in munirah below grade 10, then no idea. It’s entirely men.

I am just trying to imagine a situation where my family would want to visit me early weeks when my Iqama is not yet ready.

I came across a case yesterday where employee has been asked to cancel family tourist visa in order to apply for residence visa by Tasheer in India. The process looks overly complicated there to cancel visa. I would suggest to come alone and try to sort out resident visa which can be done within 2 months.
