Hi!
I saw an old thread with a few pet relocation questions and answers but was hoping to get an updated perspective.
We are due in Kingdom this August and are US based. I am very concerned about shipping my 25 lb dog during the hottest time of the year.
Looking for pet relocation company experience from US based employees , especially if used in summer months.
Thanks

We moved last October from Oklahoma and used Air Animal based out of Florida. One of our dogs is 56lbs, too big to fly in cabin. They set up our dogs to fly cargo on Qatar Airways. They are pricey but were helpful with the logistics/paperwork, however I was not happy with their lack of communication. It was by far the most stressful part of our move here. I would absolutely NOT fly your dog cargo in the Summer though. Our dogs arrived at 3am and did not get processed and released from the vet at the airport until 4pm. They had to wait in their crates outside, where there was no air conditioning the entire time. It’s just too hot in August for that possibility. Can you fly with your dog in cabin instead? Otherwise I would wait to transport your dog until the fall when it cools down. Your RA can get you all the necessary requirements. Feel free to DM me if you need further assistance.

This is your best option and ask for David: expatlogistics.com/We had our Beagle from Calgary come over 2021, handled with TLC for the 5 day trip. It will cost you $$$ and it's worth the money. Would avoid taking a chance on your own due to certificates, forms, etc, especially on your initial entry Also, and I suspect this could be an issue on initial entry, as our dog is linked to my Iqama, which you wouldn't receive for 7 to 14 days.
