Hi everyone,
For a Saudi visa one needs to do a medical test. They require a Hepais C Antibody test, but I've read that a positive result doesn't always mean you have the virus. Apparently, a Hepais C PCR (RNA) test is needed to confirm infection.
My question: Has anyone here had a positive Hepais C Antibody test during the Saudi visa medical process? What happened next?
I'm wondering why they don't require the PCR test if the antibody test can be misleading.
Any info or experiences would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

totally normal and most test positive for HepC antibody. Just means your body incurred the virus in the past and your body won. No further test required for HepC.
