ok..were you being hired by petroleum engg department? heard Aramco’s focus next few yrs will be gas and liquids to chemicals business..petroleum will take a back seat yes, Job le is Petroleum Engg, but role focused on data management & AI/ML. this is also my expertise and I have approx 18 years of experience in this field. I think I am in the same boat. I was interviewed for the Liquid to Chemicals and was told I am successful. I then submitted all the paperwork required and started the background investigation. I have been informed by the recruiter that due to manpower revision, my position was affected. What's weird is that the position I was interviewed for (supposedly affected by requisition reduction) is still active and open for new applicants to apply.
Has someone had a similar experience in which they were contacted later with an offer?
What are the chances that successful but affected candidates will be re-contacted with an offer?

Then, after almost 6 months, they got back to me and said that I'm the primary candidate and asked for lot of documents which I submitted. After a month of submission, when asked about the status, they told me that I've been moved back as a back up candidate. Any such experiences from the forum members? |

As per the relocation advisor, BI is in progress. |

As per the relocation advisor, BI is in progress. Currently I am also a backup candidate. From my experience,,, they proceed with BI and collect all the relevant applications from the potential candidate. However, till you get a offer letter,, its not confirmed. Patience is the key. |
