Dear Forum Members,
Are there any forum members who have been affected by reduction in requisition currently, causing their status to change from primary candidate to backup candidate?
It's interesting to see how many people are impacted by this. I am one of them. After submitting documents (application form, paystubs, etc.) as a primary candidate over 6 weeks ago,
my recruiter informed me now that, due to the reduction in requisition in the department I have been placed on a list of backup candidates along with other primary candidates, until further notice/instructions.
sharing your experience will be realy appriciated!!

I think there was a change of plans with Requisitions. I was entirely dropped from the process few days after receiving and accepting offer. No reason provided but was told that there was a change of plans with requisitions and I might have been affected by this.
Upwards and onwards, better to be in that position than getting dropped shortly after starting job - which I think can happen as well!

This is normal.Delay in getting approval from the management could be the reason. You should expect to hear from them after 14th April (Ramadan and Eid holidays).

Those are still petroleum products. "Petroleum" is just all encompassing term.
