Yes you can bring your family with your own expenses as you will be the sponsor for them.

I have been offered a position of Engineer with Saudi Aramco through a contractor company, and the have offered me single status. I wanted to ask whether can I bring my family to KSA after coming to KSA? and it is possible to get private medical insurance for them? I appreciate any help in this regards. You can, there are visit visas available but health insurance appears to be very difficult if not non existent and children cannot be enrolled in school.

Yes you can definitely bring your family but there are few things which you might have already considered but if not, need to consider or ask your sponsor. 1. To invite family we were required to get an NOC from our employer check with your employer if they will issue. 2. We have to pay for iqama for our family members and you will have to do the same which should be 400 Sar per person per month. 3. You can get a medical insurance for your family members. 4. Since you are hired on a single status on contract, check with your sponsor if they have any expectation for you to move around as people on contract are sometime have to shift depending on the job requirements. For school going kids it would be an issue. 5. Double check your work location and I hope it won't own be in the remote. 6. Check with your sponsor if they will be giving you rental allowance or a place to stay. That will have an impact on overall finance as they won't pay if bachelor housing is offered.

You cannot sponsor on single status. false information, you can bring your spouse and child even if you are single status, even back in 2007, I did. All expenses will be paid by the person and the person will sponsor them. There is no issue. There is only one option that you cannot bring your family if your salary below 10000 or 15000, and I don’t think so this would not be an issue to person who was asking here.

Thank you everyone for your response. I asked the employer and they will provide me with all the paperwork needed to apply for family visa and they will also assist me in medical insurance but it all will be done on my own expenses. My work location is mentioned as Dhahran and there is no mention of relocation to a remote area. Here you go. Enjoy the rest my friend 😉
