o,
Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing delays in getting their yellow slip? Hubby arrived on Dec 28th and had a huge delay getting his Iqama because his IT logins weren’t set up correctly. Since then he has sent all the paperwork in to be translated, it’s going into the 3rd week and he hasn’t heard anything. I am just wondering if this is happening to other people and if it could be because of the amount of people coming in?

Standard turnaround is 2-3months from employee arrival to family arrival. I was 6 weeks from arrival to yellow slip. Once the documents are translated he can make the yellow slip appointment which is issued same day as appointment if all the paperwork is correct.

Thanks Jo There was significant delays in this process back in July to September. Things are better now. Translation process is straightforward and hence ask him to chase passport office daily. It shshouldn'take this long. Meanwhile ask him to book yellow slip appointment from absher as sometime appointments can take couple of weeks. |

TIA The HR office who handles this is locally called passport office here. Chase whom he has given papers. ALFIFA representatives. |

FYI, just now checked with few guys and they received their documents within 2 weeks. They applied in January. |

TIA Passport office (Al-Fifa) in Dhahran is in Midra tower, together with HR. It's a good bit off the main core buildings, so either grab a ride from someone or taxi / bus. |
