Hi All,
Thanks for this insightful forum.
I am heading to the interview in a few days here in Australia and was wondering what is the policy for school allowance per child. I recall in one of the threads someone mentioned 2x base salary which feels quite low given the range of tuition fees in schools like ISG or BISAK. My eldest is already in year 11 (have 3 kids) and we are looking for an IB school so unlikely to enrol with Aramco school.
Also is it paid upfront or as reimbursement once invoices have been paid?
Thanks!

Not 100% sure of the latest fees, but so far as I remember it is a straight multiple of salary up to a cap.
2* base salary for tuition only (100% of fees) 3.5* base salary for boarding (90% of fees)
The issue I believe is that the cap has not increased in line with inflation (if at all).

The cap was recently increased to $17k, I believe.
For the fees, add 15%, expats pay vat here, you will get your vat back. The company will pay you directly but you also have to pay your contribution upfront, you cannot use the payment plan. Then you provide proof to company that payment was made in full. ISG fees go up (at the moment) annually by 2-3k (sar).
