Hi all,
Is work from home/remote working even considered?
By WFH, I mean having the flexibility to work from your accommodation instead of going to the office AND having the option of working from your home country?
Not read about this anywhere so far so I am presuming that these are likely to be redundant concepts?
Has anyone tried asking, if yes, would be keen to hear insights.
Thanks

Thanks No flexibility, expectation is to be at woek/office during contracted hours, out of kingdom working from home is forbidden unless on an assignment in another country. Also taking work items such as phone/laptop is also a big no no. It's a very strict policy on this. Be prepared to be in the office everyday.

What Kyle said, you can’t even get your email on your phone without permission and clear business need.

What Kyle said, you can’t even get your email on your phone without permission and clear business need. Your working hours are 7am - 4pm, with no expectation to work outside of normal working hours. I personally class that as a positive for Aramco. I have no wish to be on the hook outside of normal hours, so see no need for email access on my phone. Aramco are very tight in IT security for good reason, incoming and outgoing emails are subject to scrutiny, and routinely scanned for keywords and security classification. Working from home only happened during COVID times, for around 3 months at the peak and the return to work was phased, at the earliest opportunity.
