Hi,
I had my workshop and interview on the 7th December in London. I was in the 11am group. Anyone else on this forum from that group or any that week?
I have been offered to role pending on contracts, medical and background.

Thanks! Tried to DM you but it kept on erroring, so trying here. I received my offer before Christmas and currently going through background checks and I had my visa medical this week also. When did you speak to hear from them last? Have you spoken to anyone else who was at the workshops? |

Hi both
I also had my interview that week - Monday 4th Dec. I was told I was TQ on the Wednesday and would receive an offer 4-6 weeks but nothing since. I got in touch with the contact in London this week, who reported that the system says my offer is awaiting authorisation from mgmt. So for now, I am staying patient and doing what all good PA'S do - make lists! Packing, to do lists, etc etc!
Td, how much do you know about your new role (and feel comfortable sharing, of course)?

I am from South Africa (was not in the UK workshops) starting in about two months, also for EA role - I was in a bit of a panic because I thought I'd be the only one starting. I hope you don't mind if we all connect?

I was also at the interview workshops on 4th Dec, I was in the 09:00am one though. I got my offer on the 29th of December. Been told they're at the last stages of the background check, and waiting for my criminal record certificate to apply for my VISA. Had my health check early January. Fingers crossed all comes together soon. My only worry is I want to take my doggies with me but have to see if they have any accommodation that allows for them. Be lovely to meet up with anyone if / when we get there. Sophia |

Sophia, yes, same group as me I just got my formal offer this morning so hoping to have the ball rolling on next steps by the end of the week. I have a three-month notice period though, which is tiresome. It's likely to be June at the earliest before I can join. If anyone makes it out there in the next month or two, keep us all informed how you're getting on. I know there's a Whatsapp group for new arrivals and we could set up a separate one for new secretaries. Fingers crossed everyone's application goes smoothly. J. |

I've just had a call to say I haven't passed the background checks. Can't believe it. Really frustrating as they don't tell you why you haven't passed. Anyway, all the best to you all anyway!! 🫶🏼
