My time line so far 4 Jul Interview Informed by AOC london after 2-3 weeks that I am TQ but considered as a backup candidate. 10 Oct Congrats Department has decided to move forward with your application and take you to salary recommendation stage 11 Oct Sent completed application form and scan copies of payslips , degrees and transcripts, passport . 6 Dec Got an email from AOC RA for pre-offer education verification, asked to sign couple of forms electronically regarding permissions for background checks and privacy notice. Also asked if Credence can apply ACRO police certificate on my behalf. She also asked to provide scan copies of passport, degrees and transcripts Signed everything and provided required documents again.
As per you experience how much time it can take for offer. I know each timeline is different. I just want to learn about your experience. Should I expect Credence to contact me for more information for ACRO police certificate and background check? I guess they are only verifying my education at this stage.

I heard that ACRO suffered a cyberattack and now all the process is fairly manual, hence report are taking around 5-6 weeks. The rest should be fairly ok

I got my offer about a month after the Credence process started. Thank you very much @ papajoe for the update. The wait is so difficult. I guess Christmas holidays and my bachelors degree (from outdise UK) will delay it further. So I should not expect any thing before the new year. The email mentioned only education verification. Credence website suggests they take 2-3 weeks. Will Credence contact me before checking my employment history?

Yes, they came back to me about that as well. I had to send the originals to UK which were then returned with apostilled copies. I do remember it did all take some time. Stay patient, and trust that you'll be rewarded for it.

I received exactly the same email on 6 December, and received the offer on 12 December. I entered into negotiations which came to an end on 18 December.
The RA advised the contingency clearance process takes 2.5 months in avee depending on several factors.

Hi @el180477, I have been following your messages and timeline as you were interviewed one week after me. I was interviewed in London on 7/11/23 and after one week I got an email that I am Technically Qualified and they would like to proceed with an offer (subjected to approval). They also asked me to submit a copy of payslips, Passport, Filling a form...ect which I did the same day. However, I haven't heard back from them since and the status of my application is still showing "Thank you for participating in our interview process". I wanted to share my timeline and hear from you if you have any tips. Thanks, Aprico
