Hi,
Just received the contract and need some clarifications for those who can help me...:
1) Vacation Calendar holidays: how does it work, is it last day worked to 1st day coming back or 1st Day not work to last day not work or other? For example I take 1 full week , will it be considered as 5 days or 9 days or in between (if it is in between what would the case I take only 4 days in the week...), another example If I take 1 day before Eid day off will it considered only 1 or full Eid...
2) They talk about deductions: what it is and what is the approx amount
3) Is there any tax in KSA
4) What is the Family Visa Iqama 1 Year?
5) How much they charge you for the villa in Dharan (we will be 5)?
6) Is the Visa multi-entry and you go where you want during your holidays?
Thanks and sorry if some questions are already in the forum

Thanks and sorry if some questions are already in the forum 1) Weekends are included in leave, unless you work a day in that week, so if you take a full working week off, it’s 7 days leave. If you only take 4 working days, it’s just the 4. For Eid you are only charged for the days you take, but you can only add to one Eid per year (in my husband’s dept, anyway) 2) Deductions really are depending on contract etc 3) Iqama fees are 4800 riyals per dependent. 4) Housing and utilities (not internet) will be around $5-600 a month, based on size. You will get a 3 bed. 5) You buy your own exit/entry visas so you can choose the single or multiple. No apparent restrictions about where you go.

Is family Iqama cost reimbursable or on us? o, Thanks, So that means for item 1) if I have understood correctly , if I take 4 days it will only 4 and not 6 (I was thinking 6 because it will automaticaly touch 1 WE...) and 1 full week is 7 (not 9 because touching both WE...?). I mention that because I get another message that people use to take from monday to wednesday the second week to have only 1 WE counted on their leave...)

You're on the right train of thought with your explanation there. Basically work 1 day, and get the weekend as earned days off, and you won't need to use vacation days for the weekend. But not all departments allow this. The department I worked for would only ever approve a full week, greatly depends on supervisor/department.

Thanks so basically you enter your 1st working day off and your 1st day back and you make the difference right?
