Hi everyone,
I have a question about background check. How long the background checks usually take? I have contacted Credence and was informed it takes roughly around 20 working days (one month) however, It has been 5 weeks since my first contact with Credence and still haven't heard anything from my RA. Your answers are very much appreciated.

If Credence couldn't get required information from your university & past employers on time, it is subject to delays.

Credence are usually quite quick with the background checks (between 2 to 4 weeks).
The thing that might be delayed is ACRO (Criminal Record check) as I know there is a big back log

In my case it was 1 month, when I've asked what is the status with the RA and they confirmed all cleared and all what they are waiting for is the ARCO certificate (here in the UK)

I have just been told by my RA that Credence (in UK) have completed their report and sent to BI team in Saudi. Two questions-
1) How long the BIT team in Saudi can take to verify?
2) since the report has been sent , doest it mean the ACRO (police certificate) is als done?
Its been over 4 weeks since the BI was started.
