Does marriage certificate require any attestations for Saudi Iqamas for dependents? or RA look after marriage authentication for the RVA process? Just don't want to go and then waiting for attestation? Thoughts?

From memory attestations apply to copies of the originals. My advice would be to get multiple copies of birth certificates and marriage certificate done. Cost should be the same, as you are paying for the legal reps time. Your RA will give you all the info you need.
Translations required after arrival are done by Aramco.

Thank you for your response. Much appreciated!
Is attestation by Notary public enough for this attestation of Marriage and Birth certificates??

No idea - was so long ago for me. Mine were done by paralegal, using the Lawyer office stamps IIRC.

I have a similar question.
My husband is at the point of sending off his passport for visa to be stamped. His RA has advised for him to send off marriage certificate and all of our birth certificates at the same time for apostille. I presume this is for the family visa purposes?
When reading on this forum previously - some have mentioned we also need my husbands university & professional certificates etc to be attested for the family visa? However our RA hasn’t asked for these to be sent too?
Can anyone shed light please? We obviously don’t want any delays in the family visa once my husband is out there so we want to be as prepared as possible with our documents. We are from UK. Many thanks

Prior to his departure to Saudi: All degrees must be attested by the Saudi Embassy/Consulate and Saudi Cultural Attaché (if applicable) in the country the degree was obtained. Your RA should be assisting you with this - you will be asked to provide/upload these to silk road.
Same as above - you will need attested Marriage certificate that must be attested by the Saudi Embassy or Saudi Consulate in the country the certificate was obtained.
As per my understanding, Birth certificates don not require attestation. However, all dependent passports must have 6 months validity.
Some of these will need to be translated into Arabic when your spouse is in Saudi and HR will assist with that.

Many thanks I submitted my marriage certi and birth certi last week to them along with my passport. Although BI just came back from credence... so waiting for final approval from Aramco side for visa process to begin. Degree process is also going to start and RA should advise what is required based on which country degree is from etc. If its not an engineering role then degree is still requirement for family visa. Also if RA agrees you can ask to start your (spouse) background check as well... not sure if they do for kids but that is also 4-5 weeks thing.

Just so I am clear - we will be asked to send degree certificates later? It’s done separately in UK? Many thanks

Spouses don’t do the background check, only the acro and medical. Children (under 16?) don’t do anything.

Many thanks Husband says he dropped all of the certificates in to the office at the same time as he did his medical, in London. He was told the certificates would be done if he passed the medical. Medical was in June, flight here was early august. However, this was before apostille so that may have changed things.
