o All
I am Working in Saudi Arabia for the last 8 years. I accepted an offer from ARAMCO grade 12, SMP through ABIS. I have read a lot of threads about the Allowances (settling in allowances, Cash in lieu) and also the great utilities ARAMCO provides to its employees.
I am wondering Do all these apply to SMP employees as well? What should I expect regarding the Allowances in the first payroll?
am I allowed and my family (my contract is single) to use the utilities (Gym, Beach, Gardens....etc.)??
your help will be greatly appreciated.

I don’t think SMPs are granted access to any of the Community facilities. As far as Cash in lieu, settling allowance, housing - Aramco will not be giving you any of that. That would be through your contractor.

You won't get any of the Aramco benefits as such. Read your contract carefully - that is what you will get.
Facilities - only way you will get access to them is with an Aramco employee granting you access to camp and even then it's as a "personal visitor".

The answer to all your questions is “no”. You’re not an employee and won’t gets the same benefits.

Thank you all for your valuable feedback. It is clear now. Just be aware that what it says in the contract is what you get. Nothing more, nothing less. I work with guys from Asia whose contractor won't even give them a visa to visit Bahrain. Very often they will promise you a car, conversion after 2 years, accomodation (some in the past even promised Aramco compound!). If it's not in the contract, forget about receiving it.

Thank you BlueStaff for the warnings, really appreciated. Actually, they did not promise anything of that. I am Egyptian, so I am very familiar with the culture, and I have experience with the Saudi labor market, and I know that what is written is what you get. I was searching for information about the work inside Aramco and the facilities I can use while inside Aramco (Not the residential Camp) But anyway, all this stuff is not of primary interest to me as I have lived in Khobar for 6 years and I know all the recreational areas I can go to in the local community.
