I had my interview last week at Aramco London office and day after I received an email that I was TQ( technically qualified) for the role , since then they have contacted me to start the verification process and have started with my Masters degree verification . I haven't received any formal offer yet and neither the figures ; so I have got couple of questions; - How long will it take for them to complete the checks and come back with offer figures?
- What should I expect from the offer? I mean base salary uplift %+ Expat Premium?
- My current gross salary before tax in UK is £103k
- Also I was interviewed for the role of Electrical Engineer at PMT department.
Can someone please respond as I have got some other offers so I want to make the best decision for my family.
Thanks

Hi,
1. It can take anywhere from few days to few months! no specific timeline; 2. They take your post tax salary, and add to it 40% for standard over base + 20% benefits supplement; 3. I'd presume the monthly net salary is c£5,500, you will add 40% (i.e. £2,200) and 20% (i.e. £1,100) = £8,800/month. They pay a lot of benefits as well (e.g. cash in lieu and settle allowance, SAIP and more) 4. They can be a bit slow!
Thanks!

Thanks for the information. Is there any expat premium on top of your calculation below ? I have heard they pay 55% expat premium which adds into monthly salary , any idea about that ?

No that's the premium - refunding the tax + 20%, it is you to negotiate to move the dial on the base salary which will impact the calculation.

Based on your current salary they are likely to make an offer around 5k USD a month base, let us know if you get anywhere near £8k!

Hi, I'm in the same boat and found the conversation fruitful. I'll appreciate if you can help providing the information/feedback:
I'm from UK with British Nationality, 20+ UK experience as a software developer and IT digital technical/enterprise Architect in large enterprises and public sector. Currently working as a Chief Architect/Head of Architecture. In addition, I have PhD in computer sciences from UK University, CITP (Chartered IT Professional) from BCS (British computer society), TOGAF (The open group Architecture forum) Certified, BCS Certified Architect (Pracioner), Cloud (AWS, Azure) experience / certified and couple of other certifications/trainings. I got selected as a Digital Architect in Aramco, submitted my documents and now waiting for the offer. Please guide, how much they will offer for the position and what should be an expectation based on similar posts for expats.
Many Thanks

Depends on your current salary, all Aramco calculations will be made off this figure. Do you know which GC the job is for as each level has a ceiling?
