Thank you, would you explain the Ramadan bonus? I am a muslim expat no on said that to me 😆 I'm not sure if Muslim expats are included in the Ramadan bonus, non-muslim expats aren't as I know personally. Someone else may be eligible to clarify Have to be in riyal payroll, so Saudi only. Will get the reduced working hours, though.

During the day, yes. At night, no, everybody is out.

GC 14 with a lower pay, it’s not attractive at all. I have declined similar offered. To go over there you need to make a substantial a lot of money to be worth it.

From what I hear there are lots of rejections from candidates at offer stage now. It’s all because the offers being made are poor. In my area we are under pressure to hire but can’t attract the best and brightest as we don’t pay enough! Sad to hear that it has gotten this way in Saudi Aramco, but that is a comment I am hearing more of. I know that especially for UK hires the weak US$ is causing issues for salaries. Also the fact that Global Payroll no longer offers the same (enhanced) package on leaving Aramco as it did previously must be having an impact.

They are offering very low base salary. Remember if you don’t properly negotiate, I don’t think you will get a salary increase every year - good luck with that.

Dear all, When you mention a % increase over "base" - which "base" do you mean exactly? Is that your current base salary in your home country? If so, do you take GROSS or NET (i.e. after tax deductions) as the "base"? Apologies for asking this question yet again, but multiple discussions left me confused Thank you for your advice!

At the first offer I got the base salary 10% lower my current GROSS, at after the negotiation it went to +25%. However, since I am form low paid justification (EU), when I got here I realised that my colleagues with an equal experience and background are getting 20/30% more. That's a bitter sensation. Don't fall in the same trap.

Hi all,
Does the regional HR has the authority to increase the offer by certain % or they have to go back to Saudi HR each time.
Thanks

Hi all, Does the regional HR has the authority to increase the offer by certain % or they have to go back to Saudi HR each time. Thanks AOC are an "arms length" subsidiary of Aramco - Purely they act as a recruiter for the Saudi Aramco. All decisions are made by the hiring department / HR.
