Hi All,
Me and my wife are looking to relocate to Dhahran - I have an offer from Aramco and she is in discussions with JHAH (but for a position in Al Hassa). I just had a couple of questions if anyone can advise:
- I understand from some other threads that if both husband and wife work for Aramco, then they have a nursery / day care on the camp which we should have access to right? Anyone know what their timings are or where can I find it? - We are a family of three so will likely get a 2 bed property on the camp. Is there any issue on having live-in nanny / maid from Aramco's perspective? Do most people have live-in? In case Aramco has issue with live-in, I presume it is ok for someone to come for full day but not live with us? - Similarly, any issues with having permanent live-in driver? my wife will have to drive to Al Hassa everyday very early in the morning - Finally - anyone who knows or does similar commute from Dhahran to Al Hassa every-day? Would be grateful to get some thoughts whether it is doable or too much.
Thanks

If both parents work they can usually get permission for a live in helper, the 2 bed homes do have a decent sized study that can be used as a bedroom. A helper can be a female nanny or a house boy who drives. There is a camp within camp for male household staff.

Thank you Tamsin. Yeah I will check with my RA on the daycare situation.

Are there any house helps/maid available for house work for 2-3 hours per day ? There are a couple of companies/apps that you can book help through. The contact details are in the welcome pack.
