Dear all,
We have recently moved to Dhahran main camp. Could anybody please advise on how to get a VPN connection with STC internet provider. Any clues on VPN router? How to connect with provided STC router. If anybody has already done this before, could you please advice. The connection needs to be secured on work laptop where no application can be installed as I don't have admin rights.

You’re out of luck. Private VPN is illegal in the kingdom, it’s something you need to setup before you land in KSA.

You’re out of luck. Private VPN is illegal in the kingdom, it’s something you need to setup before you land in KSA. They are not illegal, just not as easy to access via Google, discoued. We’ve put nordvpn on personal devices here. But we’d not be touching company laptops 😂, that’d be a fast way to get returned to the airport. |

Get ExpressVPN from a mirrored site or app store as one subscription can be installed on multiple devices, including TV and router. |

Would advise NOT to tamper with Aramco laptop, they have different VPN setup that may or may not require approval from mgmt |

Just to clarify, I don't have to install VPN on Aramco laptop. I am not working for Aramco but work for Abbott. My husband only works for Aramco.
