Guys, I received interview call from Aramco recruiter for position that have not applied. Does anyone have similar experience. I create profile but I didn’t put application for any position. When I asked recruiter to send job the description they send me some generic position. Not sure how to prepare the interview. Your comments are much appreciated. Please advise!!!

o Tobe,
I had the same, no application, and called by HR, don't know where they found my CV, perhaps LinkedIn but not sure. This happened for me in October 2022 and I am flying out to start my career at HQ in under three weeks.
I would verify the person, so call the head office in the country you are in and ask that this person works there and be put through to them to give you peace of mind.
In relation to the interview, base it on the job description and also research the company and department as much as you can.
Good luck

Thanks aj83uk for your feedback. The job is process engineer for NGL department. The job description I received is applicable to my background which gives me hope that qualification would not be an issue. Interview is scheduled in early next month through hireVue digital live with Saudi manager at HQ. Will see the out come. Again thanks your feedback.

AJ Where are you going to stay? I believe HQ is in Dhahran, and if I may ask you, were you had one interview session, were all online, any live meeting before you get the offer. I’m just curious about the hiring process.

I've been allocated a place on the compound in Dhahran, HQ is there too.
For my interview they asked if I could come into the office in London but due to family issues I was not able to and asked if this could be done online to which they agreed. It was one interview online for me with no live meeting.
After my interview, the checks took time and verification of paperwork. Then there is a medical that needs to be passed. Once all contingencies are passed satisfactory you get your visa. This happened for me in Feb, so five months in, but I had to work my notice period at my current work place. There are some posts on the forum about timeline and process, which I thought were very helpful.
I hope this helps but there are people on here who have very good knowledge of the company, been here for a while and should be able to help out.
