Hey all I’m due to fly out on the 18th I believe EID starts on the 19/20th? My question is will people still be working in the office or will that be classified as bank holiday? Just wondering what to expect the following day to arrival?

21st should be Eid, so I imagine you will travel 18th, rest day 19th, work 20th (inductions?) and then Eid. There is 1 work day on 27th then its the weekend again.
Enjoy!.

You are arriving at a nice time. Weather has been nice, mid 20s to date and should climb to around low 30s next 2 weeks (a pretty "cold" March and April so far).
Camp will be quiet as many will take the opportunity to travel either locally in Middle East or further afield, but it will give you time to settle.
There will be buses to get you around to the malls etc for bits and pieces but check the store hours as many will be closed 4 days for Eid.

[br Sounds great as I was hoping to have a few days to settle in, walking into the unknown with a spectrum of emotions and not knowing what to expect, so a few days would be perfect. Just waiting on finding out flights so I can hopefully arrange more luggage. If there’s any stores you could recommend please that would be open to at least get some shopping for a few days?

Commissery on camp is open 24 hours so you can get what you need from there. Resteraunt will be open but probably takeaway during the daytime in Ramadan when you arrive. There should be someone from your organisation to pick you up at airport so they can fill you in on camp transport, taxis etc and deliver you to your accomodation.
First 2 days of Eid mostly everything outside will be closed save for the Supermarkets and IKEA.
