So, here’s the situation: I am here in KSA w/ Aramco and just recently converted to family from Bach. Been here since October 2022. My wife and child are coming from US and should have the single entry resident visas issued next week with me as the sponsor.
My wife may have to delay her arrival a few weeks later as originally planned due to her father needing surgery but we would for my 9 yr old son to come on with me to KSA next month. I’ll be in the States at the time for short leave, so we will enter together w/o wife/mother.
Does anyone think they will be an issue or had experience with Saudi immigration entering in KSA w/ a child and w/o mother for the first time w/ a single entry resident visa? Mom will follow in a few weeks. I will have an iqama and a multiple entry visa and my son will have single entry resident visa w/ me as the sponsor.
I know there are no issues with children traveling in and out of KSA w/ a single parent, once everyone has their iqama and multiple entry visas. Just not sure if Saudi immigration will ask where mother is on this initial entry for my son? I called the Saudi embassy in DC and Consulate in Houston several times to ask this question; however, no one ever answers the phone!

I doubt it, there are single parents in KSA, just not in camp with Ara**o. But I would get her to write a letter and accompany you to the airport stateside.
